Robyn Clark is a full time Practice Manager Partner in South Gloucestershire. Born and bred in Bristol, she is an HR practitioner by background with experience of working in secondary care, mental health trusts and community health services. She became a practice manager in 2017.

In 2020, along with three other practice managers, she formed the Institute of General Practice Management – the professional body for all managers working in general practice in the UK. She also takes on the role of Director of Communications for the organisation, drafting statements, responses and letters to government and national bodies on behalf of members. She also created the IGPM Accreditation Framework – the process by which managers working in general practice can be formally accredited and gain access to the post-nominals MIGPM, and the professional register. The framework is recognised by NHS bodies in the UK as well as the CQC and General Practitioner Committees.

Robyn has a passion for employee wellbeing and engagement, improving services and patient access. Along with the other IGPM Directors, she seeks to represent and promote practice management at all levels – locally, regionally and nationally.
