Laura McDermott

Laura McDermott is the CEO and Founder of Colectivo, a cross-sector consultancy focused on practical sustainability and innovation. Recognised as a Top 100 Woman in Social Innovation by Euclid Network (EU Commission) and a 2024 PMI Changemaker (PwC), Laura is also an award-winning faculty member at IE Business School, where she teaches sustainability through design and innovation.

Her work spans healthcare, education, construction, and tourism, supporting organisations to turn strategy into action. With a background in behavioural design, stakeholder collaboration, and lean innovation, Laura specialises in designing real-world projects that address environmental, workforce, and systemic challenges across Europe and Latin America.
