Dr Zidaru works at the forefront of community-based general practice with a particular focus on youth mental health, contraception including LARC, palliative care, and geriatric medicine. As Assistant Programme Director for the TCD GP training programme, she mentors future GPs, while her leadership of the Network of Establishing GPs within the Irish College of GPs underscores her commitment to professional development and primary care integration.
Internationally, Dr Zidaru has contributed to discussions on autonomy versus safety for cognitively impaired patients at WONCA Europe as part of the European Young Family Doctors Movement.
