Leonora O'Brien
Leonora is an experienced health-tech entrepreneur, a fractional Chief Revenue Officer and dedicated mentor for SME’s. She is also the Co-Founder of the Founder Framework company, which helps businesses develop the same robust processes and systems as are seen in High-Reliability Organisations such as aviation and hospitals.
Leonora is also a pharmacist. Her previous roles include that of Chief Pharmacist for the Unicare Pharmacy, the largest pharmacy group in Ireland where she was accountable for the group’s legal, professional and ethical compliance. She also worked for the PSI (the Pharmacy Regulator). In her role as European Manager for Celesio AG in Germany, she had accountability for development and management of Patient Safety standards and Professional Services strategy for 2,300 pharmacies across 8 European countries.
For the past decade Leonora has developed award winning technology solutions to reduce avoidable harm to patients globally. She has served on Boards such as the National Maternity Hospital Foundation and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Leonora won the Business Woman of The Year in Ireland 2020 (Irish Women’s Awards) and she is also President of the European Jury for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards having won the European Laureate title in the Cartier awards in 2013.
