GP Practice Ally is Ireland's leading GP Practice Management community, with almost 1400 members in 63% of the practices in Ireland. Our community welcomes not just practice managers, but also GPs, practice nurses and practice administrators as we understand that the practice management role is fulfilled by many different people across the country. Allies combine or unite resources with each other for mutual benefit. This is what we are all about at GP Practice Ally, combining the collective wisdom in the community to navigate change and sharing practical resources that benefit everyone.

This year’s summit theme is: Navigating Change: Practical Solutions for Practice Management

The summit will feature insights from experienced practice managers and industry leaders including Medisec, Clanwilliam, MedAccount, Promed and Jones Business Systems, so that we as a community can develop practical solutions to practice challenges together. We will be discussing the development of the practice management role, the importance of sustainable practice leadership, protecting IT systems and data, planning for succession and change, managing stress and boosting morale and the future of technology in healthcare.

We will also have engaging, interactive workshops to provide guidance and share tips on the effective management of your CDM programme, managing patient conflict and complaints, navigating challenging conversations with staff, implementing system and process improvement and getting the most out of your practice management system.

We are working hard to create an experience where our members can feel the benefits of building deep connections and confidence, all while staying curious and open-minded about the future of General Practice in Ireland.

The summit will take place from 9.30am-5pm on Friday 20th and 9.30am-2.30pm on Saturday 21st. We will also be hosting a gala dinner in the hotel (at approximately 7.30pm) featuring an excellent live band to let our hair down and have some fun too!
